После этого Платон утверждает
нечто совершенно чуждое современным умонастроениям: он
говорит, что человек способен постичь все таинства бытия
лишь после смерти, когда
освободится от оков тела. Платон считает, что освобождение
души от материального тела является основным условиям
философского взлета к
окончательной мудрости. Как указал Гроссо [36, 37],
монистический материализм уничтожил архитектуру бытия и
свел его к одноэтажному бараку: по-
настоящему реальному миру чувственного, опытного
восприятия. Срединное царство, нереальный мир сновидений,
утонченные проявления эпифеноменов
— это прибежище, куда, возможно, удаляются и художники, и
безумцы — может преподать нам урок, потребовать меньшей
догматичности в уверенном
применении таких эпитетов, как "реальный". Этот мир может
помочь нам постичь более многослойные онтологии.
